Our regular schedule: Two Sunday services, at 8 and 10 a.m.

Several times a year, there is only one Sunday service, at 9 AM, followed by a brunch. This is usually the case when there is a fifth Sunday in any month, and will probably be true on these fifth Sundays in 2006:

Jan. 29, April 30, July 30, Oct. 29, and Dec. 31. Please call the office to confirm.

Occasionally, there is one 9 AM service on other Sundays, such as for annual meeting. Please call the office to check.

Directions to Saint Andrew’s-in-the-Valley

678 Whittier Road, Tamworth, New Hampshire

We are located in Tamworth, New Hampshire, which is between Lake Winnipesaukee (to the south) and the White Mountains (to the north).

The church is on the south side of Whittier Road (“Old Route 25”), about a mile off of Rte. 25.

From the West (from Center Harbor or Moultonborough):

Take Rte. 25 east through South Tamworth to the point where Rte. 113 turns left toward Tamworth village (not the Rte. 113 turnoff towards Sandwich!).

In about 1/4 mile, Rte. 113 turns left again, across a bridge; instead, continue straight, on Whittier Road, for less than a mile. The church will be on your right.

From the East (from West Ossipee and Rte. 16):

At the intersection of Rte. 16 and Rte. 25-WEST (at the Smokehouse, Watson’s,  McDonald’s, and the Windsong Motel — and several miles north of where Rte. 25 heads east from Rte. 16 toward Maine), turn West onto Rte. 25. Take the second right, at about 1.1 mile, onto Whittier Road.

Follow Whittier Rd. about a mile; the church will be on your left.

From Tamworth village and Wonalancet:

Follow Rte. 113 south to the stop sign just after the bridge that crosses that Bearcamp River. At that point, Rte. 113 turns right, but instead, take a left turn onto Whittier Road. The church will be on the right in less than a mile.
