Our Blessing of the Animals is open to all. It takes place on the church lawn—usually on the Sunday afternoon nearest to Saint Francis’ day (early October). |

The Saint Andrews’ congregation likes a good meal, a good celebration, and good music — and so the church is the setting for special events of many types—some organized by the church and some by other organizations such as the Tamworth Arts Council and the New Vocal Collective. 2006 Special Events (a partial listing) Jan. 20 at 6 PM—Chowder Supper and a presentation on Environmental Stewardship by Blair Folts. Feb. 28 — Shrove Tuesday (“fat Tuesday”) Pancake Supper. It’s the traditional thing to do on the night before Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent! April 7 at 6 p.m. – lasagna supper and a discussion about Islam with the Rev. Dr. Anne Minton. June 17, 8 AM to 3 PM—The Saint Andrew’s Craft Fair & Fleamarket. Nov. 17, 6–9 PM. An Evening at the Auction. Dec. 2, 8 AM to 1 PM — The “Boughs & Bon-Bons” Christmas Sale.
